The monograph considers the expressive possibilities of punctuation means of Russian, Chuvash and English media. The empirical basis is the headings of analytical materials of the online versions of the publications in the studied languages for 2017-2021. A comparative analysis based on an international approach identifies unique and universal punctuation practices of multilingual journalists (stylistically and pragmatically effective cases of using question and exclamation marks, dashes, colons and quotation marks, as well as specific expressive punctuation techniques).
