The book comprehensively refutes the myth of "Novorossiya", which modern Russia has based on its territorial claims to Ukraine. It is shown that the most serious blow to it is inflicted by Moscow documents of the 17th– the 19th centuries. Based on them, it is found out that until the 19th century, Moscovia, oddly enough, considered the territory of modern Eastern and Southern Ukraine to be an organic component of the Ukrainian space.
