The monograph is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Larisa Ivanovna Zaichkina (1923–1997), Associate Professor, Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences, who headed the Department of Organization of the Pharmaceutical Economy at the Pyatigorsk Pharmaceutical Institute from 1968 to 1975 and worked there until January 1997. Her dissertation research focused on the history of pharmacy development in the North Caucasus. The abstract of her candidate dissertation included a list of four publications, all of which are presented in full in this book. The practical part of the monograph reflects the results of retrospective studies on the development of pharmacy in Adygea, Dagestan, North Ossetia–Alania, Stavropol, and the Don region, as well as the training of pharmaceutical specialists in Southern Russia. It also includes marketing and organizational-economic research conducted using the example of modern pharmaceutical organizations operating in Krasnodar and Stavropol territories, as well as the Karachay-Cherkess and Chechen Republics.
