The collection is dedicated to studying the processes of contemporary reading transformation under conditions of sociocultural modernization. Particular attention is paid to changes in reading motivation and preferences, problems and prospects of forming readers' preferences, reading movement into virtual environment, developing new readers communications. Numerous literary portals, forums, websites and blogs as a new phenomenon in the modern book culture, existing in the virtual space, allow elaborating a dialogic, interactive and individual-personal character of relationships with readers, users, buyers.
