The collection contains articles prepared on the basis of materials of the Second Inter-Republican Scientific Conference "Problems of Ethnogeny and Ethnic History of the Balts" held in March 1981 in Vilnius. The articles are devoted to the questions of formation of certain Baltic tribes and nationalities. The authors shed light upon questions of ethnic history of the Balts, ethic contacts between the Balts and neighboring tribes in musical culture and folklore.
