The book is the last in a series of publications about privatization in various regions and countries of the world prepared by the Department of Global Problems. Main focus of the edition is on the privatization in Russia - all the stages of this process are shown, their economical and political estimations are done, their after-effects on the population and the state itself are covered. Both the privatization in different Russian regions and the process of restructuring of the natural monopolies are explained in detail.
