This is the fourth edition of the novel "Princess Menzhinskaya". This work continues to arouse keen interest among lovers of Belarusian history.
I am happy that my goal - to tell about the fate of two families, the Callupiles and the Menzhinsky - has finally come true in full.
The author has been working on the trilogy for ten years. "Apostate" is the love story of Fyodor Kollupailo and Panna Yulia from Tolochek. From the novel "Princess Menzhinskaya" the reader learns about the fate of the daughter of this couple - Maria. And, finally, the third story - "The Mazurovsky Wolf" - is dedicated to the fate of the son of Maria Menzhinskaya, Prince Serge. He inherited a decent fortune from his grandfather, mother and father. The prince lived a lot in France. But he did not forget about his homeland. In the thirties of the XX century, he bought a plot of land in the courtyard of the Gniezno church near Volkovysk and erected a wonderful family crypt on it, where he transferred the bodies of his grandfather, grandmother and mother. Perhaps he himself cherished the hope of being buried in it ...
This monument (by the way, preserved to this day) prompted the author to write down these three stories. He still managed to catch people who knew the Menzhinsky alive.
