For the first time, a comprehensive study of the functioning of the press of the Muscophile movement in Eastern Galicia in 1900 - 1939 was conducted - a long and complex historical connotation. The basic ideological and political bases of functioning of this press, peculiarities of its structure, and the periods of functioning were determined. On the basis of the analysis of publications of the press of the Moscow movement and the corresponding publications from the Ukrainian and foreign press the evolution of the Moscow movement and its press is investigated, the role of this press in the all-Ukrainian context is pointed out. A fundamental difference between the content of the concepts of "Moscow Philosophy" and "Russophilism", "Soviet Philosophy" and "political orientation" has been found. The relevance of the study of the history of the Ukrainian press in all its aspects was confirmed.
