The people of the USSR wanted to live in one union, but the bureaucracy divided the Soviet Union into pieces. People wanted to live better and wealthier, but the bureaucracy made them beggars. People never refused to work, but the bureaucracy made them unemployed, by ruining the economy. And every time disregarding the people’s will, bureaucrats claim that they do it for the sake and on behalf of people. The author states that it is high time to finish with all that, and that people are waiting for a genuinely people’s president.
