This collective monograph is devoted to justifying the need to develop such an interdisciplinary field of study as political science of law. According to the authors—political scientists and legal scholars—its emergence is due to the fact that, within the social sciences, there is still no interdisciplinary field focusing on the institutions and processes that exist at the intersection of the political and legal spheres of state and society. First and foremost, this refers to the processes of lawmaking and law enforcement in the modern public sphere, which implies the influence of citizens and their organizations on the processes of adopting and implementing political and administrative decisions. It also refers to the processes of creating and operating both ordinary and constitutional courts.
