A publication within the Central Research Project of the Institute of National Remembrance: The Communist Movement and the Apparatus of Government 1917-1990. This publication presents a panorama of contacts between Belgrade and Warsaw between 1968 and 1981, set against the backdrop of, among other things, the détente process in Europe, the socio-political crises in the Eastern Bloc, German affairs, European security issues, and the internal situation in Yugoslavia and Poland. Particular attention is paid to the significance of the Soviet factor in shaping Yugoslav policy towards the Polish People's Republic.
