On May 19-27, 1915 Moscow experienced a drastic shock: hundreds and thousands of its citizens began to destroy and set on fire everything on their way. Nevertheless, in Russian literature these events were regarded as patriotic mass demonstrations. The author of the book does not agree with this definition and suggests his own analysis of the event.
