In the center of the author’s attention there are portrait descriptions of the last five novels by Fedor Dostoyevsky, however the analysis of the material opens a wider layers of an artistic world of the writer. The author describes portrait not in its usual sense, but rather a “conceptual portrait”. The study is important for understanding of an artistic world of the writer, as well as a Russian linguistic picture on the whole. The author reveals some dominants, which reflect myths creating of the author and are connected with myths creating of the Russian people.
