The jubilee publication dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Knipovich Polar Research Institute of Marine Fisheries and Oceanography (PINRO) tells about the history of foundation of the oldest fisheries institution in the North of Russia, about a great work done in the different directions of the research on biological resources from the seas of the North European Basin and the North Atlantic during the years.
