The monograph by Vladislav Olegovich Petrov, Doctor of Art History, Professor of the Department of Theory and History of Music at the Astrakhan State Conservatory, is dedicated to a little-studied area of Dmitry Shostakovich’s composer’s heritage - the area of the piano duet.
