In this book, Prof. Dimitur Radev defends the normative theory of legal science as a doctrine and a scientific method. His main idea is that normativism is not part of legal positivism, but rather a separate legal theory and a methodological teaching. He makes his own contribution to the teaching of Austrian scientist Hans Kelsen, who founded the famous Viennese school of law. Radev reveals the philosophical characteristics of Kelsen's tenets and sheds light on the institutional qualities of normativism.
