The reports of Russian scientists, university professors, and employees of academic institutes are united by the common theme of understanding the problems and representations of health/illness, norms and pathologies. The participants of the seminar analyzed the attitude to health (of the body, spirit, soul, etc.) in historical dynamics, characterized diseases, epidemics, epizootics, attitudes towards them, and treatment practices; reflected on descriptions of health/illness, norms and pathologies in works of art; identified the discourse of health/illness, norms and pathologies in the context of dialogue of cultures and problems of intercultural communication; described healthy lifestyle practices in the context of historical eras and a variety of locations, analyzed works of art as a result and/or marker of the author's normality/abnormality.
