This collection includes Lev Leibman's book "Commune" Ikor ", which tells about the first and last Jewish youth agricultural commune in the Far East, three chapters from Leon Tsimi's book" On the Virgin Land ", the story "On the Amur" by Hirsch Dobin. These works were translated into Russian from Yiddish in 2016-2018 by the staff of "Birobidzhaner Stern" and were first published on the pages of the newspaper. The collection also includes the memoirs of the first Jewish settlers, recorded by Hirsch Dobin. They have been previously translated and published in the Freud Community Library series.
