The edition comprises new documents on the history of Russian village in the 1920's that have been discovered among the funds of Russian federal archives. The work is based on the information picked up from letters, petitions, complaints, questions and appeals that came from the pen of country authors. Besides, the collection includes materials devoted to village public institutions. The edition is illustrated with drawings sent to the newspaper 'Krestianskaia Pravda' ('Peasant Truth').
