Eshkilev - editor of one of the issues of the culturological magazine "Thursday" - "Empire" (1992); initiator of the publication of the philosophical and cultural journal "Pleroma" (1996), project manager and main author of the glossary corpus of the Small Ukrainian Encyclopedia of Contemporary Literature (1998), which won the nomination "Best Project of the Year" V All-Ukrainian Forum of Publishers 9Lviv, 1998). Curator of the art exhibition "Sign". He has the idea of classifying the modern literary process, based on ideas about the existence of rustic, modernist and postmodern discourses. Eshiklev developed an original historical and philosophical concept of the "lost Ukrainian book" and "Russian booklessness", which in many ways defined, in his opinion, the paradigm of cultural development of Ukraine and Russia. He writes in Russian and more Ukrainian. His works have been translated into Polish.
