This book describes one of the thorny problems facing leaders of our time. Successful professional or spiritual growth depends essentially on a model we set for ourselves. From the author’s analysis, two categories of leader models emerge, from which a choice is necessary: those who allow themselves to be guided by wisdom and who consider themselves useless servants and those who believe that without them, the world will stop. The former are capable of producing other leaders through their attitude, their life, their conduct, and are ready to give them the place to regain the back seat and independently of any constraint when the time comes. The latter, on the other hand, are leaders who act like sorcerers and whose shadow prevents others from flourishing. All means are usable and permitted, even the most forbidden, when their interest is at stake. Yet, positively impacting one’s generation and being a reference leader remains a sovereign mission for any leader. Furthermore, earning and maintaining the trust of others requires five things: Character, Competence, Communication, Consistency, and Courage.
