This monograph is devoted to legal regulation of relations in the sphere of parallel import, formation and modernization of legal regimes of exhaustion of exclusive rights to objects of intellectual property in different economic conditions, as well as measures to develop national industry and import substitution.
The exhaustion of exclusive rights in relation to intellectual property objects is regarded as the main mechanism indirectly regulating parallel import relations, the legitimation of which may increase international competition, as well as the price policy balance of rights holders in different States. In addition, parallel imports can be a key instrument in overcoming restrictive economic measures to compensate for shortages in the market and will optimize trade relations in broken supply chains.
