The monograph for the first time adequately reflects the results of paleomagnetic studies in the Primorye Territory' and the islands of the Sea of Japan. Factual basis of the monograph are systematic data describing the magnitude and direction of the remnant magnetization of rocks of different genesis and composition in the age range from Proterozoic to Neogene. Paleomagnetic studies were conducted in large-scale geological mapping and prospecting. The main rocks complexes of all regional structural-formation zones are represented in the studied oriented samples of the collections. The information on the geological and topographic position of the studied cross-sections, magnetic susceptibility, natural remnant magnetization and the characteristic remnant magnetization directions of sedimentary and volcanic-sedimentary, volcanic and intrusive formations, as well as regional and local metasomatic ore fields of a number of tin deposits, ores and ore host rocks contains in the tabular form.
