The monograph deals with the owners of forests in Slovenia, which is almost half a million. As many as 89% of private owners own less than 5 ha of forests, or 40% of all forest land. They often mention the stroke in connection with (too) a small cut, and thus officially perceived as a problem. However, due to their relatively large number, their social significance is remarkable.
