On the basis of various sources the author presents political, social, cultural and economic relations of the Armenian mountainous region Siniuk in the period of late feudalism. The book covers liberation movement of Transcaucasian peoples against Mongols, Turks and other conquerors from the East. The author also introduces new written sources found in the archeological digs in burial-vaults of Suniuk regents (in Vaanavank cloister) - lapidary inscriptions.
