How did the spirit of Slovene and our true history become shattered in German historiography? Until that time, no Slovene historian was a historian by education, but each one of his powers handed over our authentic historical tradition. This ended after the first Slovenes were educated for the profession of historian. Of course they studied abroad: in Vienna, in Padua, in Berlin, in Paris and elsewhere, so all the first Slovenian professional historians graduated from the history of foreign nations, but not from Slovene history, pushed into the angle and forgotten. When those graduates returned to their homeland, they naturally learned what they studied abroad. This foreign history was then taught at the Ljubljana Faculty, where all the generations of graduates from history were educated. That is why our official history is one big lie, but now unfortunately it has already become the truth for all who are educated in public institutions.
