Pavel Vasilyevich Kuchiyak (1897-1943) was an Altai poet and playwright. He is considered the initiator of the Altai Soviet literature. The book contains his plays in the Altai language (including in Latin in the spelling of the 1930s), literary criticism in Russian and autobiography in German and Russian.
