This book features a previously unpublished manuscript of an unknown author, the text of which was compiled in the underground in 1946. The publication is a valuable source of information for the study of the OUN's and the UPA's activities. It includes important data on the social, economic and national situation in Dnieper Ukraine. In addition, the book sheds light on the activity of the UPA raiding detachments in the central oblasts of Ukraine.
The publication also provides information on the activities of the OUN's special operative units, which in 1944-1945 were dispatched to enhance their presence and engage in organizational operations in these territories.
