The monograph analyzes the economic and legal nature of entrepreneurship: conceptual approaches to understanding entrepreneurial activity in foreign and Russian economic and legal sciences, as well as in legislation are shown, a general description of the legal forms of legal entities is given, taking into account changes and additions made to the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, in the framework of the implementation of the Concept for the Development of Civil Legislation of the Russian Federation, the types of legal entities used to implement entrepreneurs activity in the energy sector. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the legal status of legal entities as business entities in certain areas of the energy sector, and the features of their functioning in the current period of development of the Russian economy.
