The monograph presents the results of a study of the value orientations and the psychological characteristics of gifted children studying in children's music schools according to pre-professional programs. The main approaches to the development of musical talent, the organizational structure of pre-professional training of young musicians at the first stage of musical education are described. A program of psychological and pedagogical support for gifted children is proposed, aimed at reducing stage excitement and, as a result, performance instability, and developing interpersonal communication skills of this target group of students. The program has been tested and has shown its effectiveness in working with younger teenage musicians.
