These are memoirs of Major General Petro Grigorenco. He was prosecuted in Russia and suffered repressive psychiatric treatment. Later he immigrated to the United States where he published his memoirs. In the memoirs he opens up the truth about many political events in Soviet Russia, describes many key figures of Russian politics.
