The history of the development of the Tersky coast or the Northern White Sea began in the 15th-16th centuries, when Russian peasants began the economic development of these lands and the creation of various crafts here. I. F. Ushakov created his notes on the basis of archival data on the life of the Terek Pomors in the pre-revolutionary period. It was assumed that in the future, on the basis of this material, books about the settlements of the Kola Territory would be published. Unfortunately, the scientist did not have time to complete this work. For a long 30 years, materials have been waiting in the wings. This publication introduces the reader to the history of the emergence of twenty settlements on the Tersky coast. The book will be of interest to both local residents and visitors to this region.
