The book is based on documents representing the funds of the Evenki archive, dated mainly from 1920-1990. They tell about the development of the Ilimpi settlements from nomadic centers, trading posts to economic centers of collective farms built in the process of settling of the nomadic population, about the liquidation of unpromising villages and other state campaigns that changed the administrative map of the region until the last decades.
