The book was of fantastic demand in the 1980s and all its 150000 copies were sold out. The work represents a living voice from the Silver Age with Russian poets as the main protagonists: N.Gumilev, A. Akhmatova, V.Mayakowsky, O.Mandelshtam, G.Ivanov, and others. Irina Odoievtseva, the “little poetess with a big bow”, managed to restore her memories of those talented people and create this monument of the unique epoch.
