This collective monograph ‘On Freedom of Conscience and Religious Associations’ is devoted to state-confessional relations in modern Russia. In 1997, the Federal Law of the Russian Federation No. 125 ‘On Freedom of Conscience and Religious Associations’ was adopted, which regulates legal relations in the field of human and civil rights to freedom of conscience and freedom of religion, as well as the legal status of religious associations in the modern Russian Federation.
In the conditions of the modern world with its globalist challenges and multiplicity of identities, the dialogue between state and religious institutions in Russian society is an important factor in the construction and preservation of social order, and the improvement of the law regulating these relations provides a legal dialogue between these institutions.
