From the ancient times, Pskov has been famous for its glamour. There are over 300 monuments of architecture of the XIIth-XXth centuries that have been preserved. The author of this book is a Doctor of Philosophy and Fine Art. Her Ph.D. thesis was devoted to Pskov and its religious architecture. This publication is about Krom and Devmont. Krom was a fortress around which the settlement started. Devmont was the second line of fortification. This part is considered to be the heart of the town.
