The present book includes fairy tales published in rare editions of the XVIIIth century. The offered tales can serve as an example of a typical popular Russian tale. “Old Byword in a New Way” is among them. This tale was very popular in Russia. It was kept in Pushkin's library and according to a version of some specialists he might use it in his literary work.
