The author examines a new line in geographical resources study - oceanic bioresources study. It is studied in a close relation to commercial oceanology, and, mostly, on the basis of Russian scientific materials. The scholar's primary concern is with monitoring of oceanic bioresources, and includes elaboration of the scheme of zonal and regional divisions of the oceans and seas of Russia.
