In Los Angeles, on one of the Hollywood Hills, is the Griffith Observatory. Next to the hill, on the slope of the mountain, there is the world famous Hollywood sign. The two places I mentioned can be reached by foot or by car from the most famous part of the city, Hollywood. The paved road begins at the parking lot of the park named after Griffith. Walking is very convenient and pleasant, and there are almost no cars in the morning.
