The author of the memoirs "In Abkhazia and the Georgian Socialist Republic" (Constantinople, 1921) was a well-known political and statesman of Russia, deputy of the II State Duma (1907), a prominent lawyer, head of the Ministry of Justice of the Provisional Government (1917) Alexander Alekseevich Demyanov (1865-1925). The memoirs were written by the author 100 years ago and are preserved in the State archive of the Russian Federation.
