The book was prepared by the Mandelstam Society and by the Russian State Humanitarian University scientific library’s Class of Mandelstam studies in the framework of creation of Mandelstam encyclopedia as a digest of information about O.E.Mandelstam, his life and creative activities. The present edition includes a glossary, collection of methodical materials for authors and editors of the encyclopedia, selected encyclopedic entries on different topics and examples of combined archive list and bibliographies in Russian and foreign languages.
