The present edition was arranged for the centenary of Andrei Platonov (1899-1951) - one of the most remarkable and enigmatic Russian Soviet writers. Philosophy, prose, poetry, culture and even mechanics were the fields he dealt with. The creative heritage of A.Platonov is immense but poorly investigated due to the cruel Soviet censorship - the gap that is covered to some extent by this book where the notebooks of the writer and other earlier unpublished unique materials are collected.
