The book provides a systematic overview of the publishing activities of Croats in New Zealand, which is based on careful research and on the basis of which a number of social activities of New Zealand Croats are reconstructed. The authors traveled to a distant land to find forgotten copies of Croatian newspapers that have been published there since the end of the 19th century. Based on these publications, as well as on numerous other historical sources and informal contacts, the book brings new insights into the communication models of Croats in New Zealand through history.
