The book is a documentary historical outline about the French pilots who fought in the Soviet SAF. The edition contains archival materials in French and Russian, mostly battle reports of “Normandy” regiment, documenting every fact of the destruction of enemy aircraft and the death of French pilots (day and hour of the circumstances of the loss of either side). The book also contains diary notes and reminiscences of the witnesses.
