A collaborative book project developed by the Dosym Satpayev Private Cultural and Educational Foundation and the BonArt Auction House, represented by its founder, Maxim Tkachenko is presented. The project also involved significant contributions of art historian Valeria Ibraeva and nomadic culture researcher Julia Gani. The uniqueness of this book lies in its foundation on an antiquarian fine art collection located in Almaty. This collection includes paintings, lithographs, drawings, engravings, and maps related to nomadic culture. The creators of these works were travelers, diplomats, spies, merchants, exiles, and missionaries from various countries and eras who ventured across the Kazakh steppes on diverse missions. Their experiences also contributed to the creation of geographical maps.
