Ewa Kubasiewicz-Houee (born July 21, 1940) - Polish philologist, librarian, opposition activist in the People's Republic of Poland. During martial law, she was sentenced to 10 years in prison and five years' deprivation of public rights, which was the highest sentence passed in the country. In an open letter, written in the prison in Fordon, she rejected the proposal of the Chairman of the Council of State - Henryk Jablonski, giving the opportunity to ask for a grace and leave the prison early. After being released in May 1983, she joined the "Fighting Solidarity" organization and became a member of its Executive Committee.
