The book is devoted to life and work of the honored professor of the St. Petersburg Theological Academy, a corresponding member of the Russian and Bulgarian Academy of Sciences Nikolai Glubokovski (1863-1937). He was the first among Orthodox theologians of his time and certainly one of the key spiritual figures of the period. The book is based on the thesis for the degree of Doctor of church history, defended by the author in the St. Sergius Orthodox Theological Institute in Paris in 2005.
