The work contains the works of Nikolai Vsevolodovich Kotrelev (1941–2021), an outstanding historian of Russian literature, long-term employee of the Institute of Literary Heritage of the Russian Academy of Sciences. His complete bibliography contains more than 480 items. The two books in this volume contain only a small part of what he wrote and published. The first book includes works dedicated to Vladimir Solovyov and the history of Russian modernism. The basis of the second book was materials about Vyacheslav Ivanov.
