The album is dedicated to the work of the Siberian graphic artist Nikolai Salnikov (1924-1982). He was a well-known author of linocuts, lithographs and etchings popular in the 1960s and 1970s. The artist also worked in watercolors, oils, pastels and felt-tip pens, and was engaged in graphic design and book illustration. Most of N. Salnikov's graphic works were inspired by the Krasnoyarsk region.
