When he was twenty years old, Nikita Muravyov became a founder of the first secret organization, and several years later - a recognized leader and theorist of Russian Decembrism, an antimonarchic movement in the 1820s. Nevertheless, only one monographic research is devoted to this unique person. His wide epistolary heritage also remains unknown to readers. The collection provides an opportunity to get acquainted with N.Muraviev's letters that cover almost the whole life of the prominent Decembrist. The work is supplemented with an introductory article.
